For mechanical breakdowns on your vehicle within 50 miles of the issuing dealership, you should return your vehicle to the issuing dealership for service under your UCC Vehicle Service Contract.

If you are more than 50 miles from the issuing dealership, you should contact UCC at 1-800-571-2016. Regardless of repair facility, pre-authorization is always required from UCC before any services are performed under your UCC Vehicle Service Contract.

Refer to your Contract Declarations page for the date and mileage of expiration. Expiration of all contracts is based on a time or mileage factor. Actual expiration takes place when the first of the two factors are realized.

Your contract may be transferrable to another private party when you sell your vehicle. Refer to Section K of your contract to determine whether your contract is transferable. To transfer, you will need to submit all maintenance receipts, a notarized copy of the bill of sale signed by both parties, a transfer fee and a copy of the documents sent to the manufacturer verifying transfer of the factory warranty, if applicable. The transfer must take place within 15 days of change of ownership.

Call your Issuing Dealer in the event you wish to cancel your contract because you are planning on selling or trading-in your vehicle, experience a total loss, or no longer want coverage. Your Issuing Dealer is the entity that sold you your contract. They are responsible for any cancellation paperwork that needs to be completed as well as any refund amount. Note that if your cancellable contract was financed, the lender will be named on any refund check.

Refer to Section L of your contract to determine whether your contract is cancellable and what you need to do to cancel.
